Alyson & Michael // Wedding Film Re-Edit

Alyson & Michael had a beautiful ceremony on a cruise ship over the winter and decided to hold a reception back home in central New Jersey for the friends and family to celebrate their marriage.  I was approached by Alyson's mom to help create a short highlight of their ceremony to share with the guests at their reception from what was recorded by the cruise ship videographers, which was over 15 minutes long... too long to share at a wedding reception!  I put together this great little clip to share their vows & ring exchange.  Enjoy!

  Simply Shire did not film this event.  The footage was filmed by the cruise ship videographers and I pieced together some highlights for the bride & grooms reception.  This service falls under video editing services.  Anything from home movies or unedited wedding videos recorded by family members can be pieced together into a small creative film.

Laura & Evan // Wedding Highlight Film

I was lucky enough to be put in touch with Laura and Evan from their awesome photographer, Laura Leigh Photo.  I love working weddings with Laura Leigh!!  Laura & Evan are such a sweet couple.  We were able to connect via Skype because of their life in the military and not being in NJ before their big day.  Monsignor Rich of St. Joan of Arc in Marlton NJ held a beautiful ceremony and we beat the rain as we headed to Valenzano's Winery in Shamong for fun reception!

Georgia's 1st Birthday // Family Film

I loved being able to record Georgia's first birthday celebration last year! I cannot believe this cutie is two years old now.  Being filmed at their family home in East Windsor, NJ brought a new comfort level toa beautiful DIY celebration with family & friends.  Wishing Georgia a very happy birthday week!

La Piazza Ristorante // Brand Film

There are lots of Italian restaurants in New Jersey and there are several the surrounding areas, but one of my all time favorites is La Piazza.  I started a project of working with many of the business owners from the local business association to create promotional films for their websites and social media.  Working with these businesses of Allentown not only was great because I know so many of the business owners, but it was awesome to help them show off their pride and joy.  Jerry & Nino of La Piazza have this amazing father and son connection and see them run such a successful (and delicious) restaurant makes you want to be part of their family.

Alexandra & Justin // Lawrenceville NJ // Wedding Ceremony Highlight

I really love last minute weddings.  I love that couples decide the importance of a wedding film and how documenting their day, especially the ceremony, will be so important in years to come.

Alex & Justin called me only a week before their wedding date.  The traditional catholic ceremony at the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville NJ was coupled with some tears, smiles and a beautiful lace wedding dress!  Enjoy this sweet highlight of Alex & Justin saying their forever "I do's."

The Pink Elephant // Brand Film

I have always had a love for painting pottery.  I have a vivid memories painting pottery with my college bestie in Boston...and Vermont and NJ!  So when Bloomers N Things in Allentown started offering pottery painting, I was in love.  It is so relaxing to paint something and even if it sits in a closet when it's complete, I know I had a great time chatting with friends and being crafty.

Debbie, the owner of Bloomers N Things, opened up another pottery studio in Asbury Park called The Pink Elephant.  The creative vibes flow off the shelves and into the little hands of children (and adults too) and onto beautiful pieces of art!  Filming a fun(and maybe a little hectic!) afternoon of children painting and an evening with a ladies painting night I think we capture the essence of The Pink Elephant!
